At Royal Princess, your satisfaction matters deeply to us. This policy explains your cancellation, return, and refund rights for all orders placed through royalprincess.co.uk.
1. Cancellation Rights (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may cancel your order at any time within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods — no explanation required.
To exercise this right, simply get in touch with us within that 14-day window using the contact details in Section 9. After notifying us, you have a further 14 calendar days to send the goods back.
2. Conditions for Accepted Returns
All returned items must satisfy the following requirements:
- The item has not been worn, used, or altered in any way.
- All original packaging, tags, and included accessories are present.
- You have reached out to us prior to sending the return and hold written approval — email: support@royalprincess.co.uk
3. Items Not Eligible for Return
The following cannot be returned under the cooling-off right:
- Jewellery that has been personalised or made to order.
- Items designated as final sale or clearance at the time of purchase.
- Goods that show evidence of wear, damage, or modification following delivery.
Please note: These exclusions do not limit your legal rights. If a product is defective, damaged in transit, or differs from its description, your protections under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain fully intact — refer to Section 6.
4. How Return Shipping Works
- Returns from within the United Kingdom are covered at no cost to you, via our designated return method.
- Upon approval of your return request, we'll send a prepaid return label along with step-by-step instructions to your email.
- Please do not dispatch any items before receiving authorisation — returns sent without approval may experience processing delays.
5. When Will My Refund Arrive?
After we receive and inspect your returned item, you'll receive an email confirming the outcome.
- Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of inspection.
- Original shipping costs are refunded only in cases where the item was faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent (see Section 6).
6. Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Items
Should your order arrive in poor condition, damaged, or not matching what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the parcel. Include the following:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the item and its outer packaging
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, we will provide either:
- A free-of-charge replacement, or
- A complete refund, including any original delivery costs paid
7. Exchanges
At this time, we do not process direct exchanges. If you'd like a different item, please return your original purchase (subject to this policy) and place a fresh order at royalprincess.co.uk.
8. Returning Your Item
When sending a return:
- Use a tracked postal or courier service.
- Follow the written instructions issued by our support team upon approval.
